Principal Clinical Neuropsychologist
David is a Brisbane-based Clinical Neuropsychologist with over ten years of experience in clinical and neuropsychological assessment. He holds an Honours degree in psychology from The University of Queensland and a Masters degree in Clinical Neuropsychology from Macquarie University. He enjoys relating to a broad demographic range, and has expertise in communicating complex ideas in an accessible manner.
David has particular interest in the management of severe mental illness (such as psychotic disorders) and traumatic brain injury, and has worked with well over a thousand patients to improve their functioning and reduce distressing symptomatology. He is proficient in the understanding and precise measurement of organic neuropathology (e.g., stroke, dementia, neurosurgical complications) and in supporting patients with severe and complex mental health conditions.
David has held senior neuropsychology positions in numerous health services throughout Queensland, and has supervised and mentored a range of practitioners and students. He is committed to ethical practice and has held appointments serving the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
