  • Neuropsychology is an advanced area of practice for psychologists, concerned with the way the physical brain relates to behaviour. Neuropsychologists have expertise in understanding and assessing problems with thinking skills (such as attention, memory, and problem solving), and behavioural issues. Neuropsychologists generally receive four additional years of training beyond their initial psychology degree before they are permitted by the Psychology Board of Australia to use the title of Clinical Neuropsychologist.

  • Neuropsychology support can help you understand your injury and develop ways of coping with the day to day problems arising from it. We can help the other members of your healthcare team to understand your strengths and limitations, and help you to meet your goals and develop a fulfilling and rewarding lifestyle.

  • Research on remote healthcare (also called telehealth) indicates that it is a highly effective alternative to in-person services. Telehealth also offers additional advantages of convenience, anonymity, and often, reduced cost.

  • A referral is not needed to access this service, but it may be helpful to supply any reports you have from medical and allied health professionals.

  • Nobody likes waiting for an appointment. This service aims to see all new referrals within two weeks of referral receipt.

  • We are a collaborative service. With your consent, we are very happy to share information with your doctor and others in your care team. This would generally be over email.
